PVC Barrier GATE SHORT 1m
A shorter version of the GATE barrier, ideal for smaller spaces. Has a red-and-white warning stripe and rotating legs. Dimensions: 1000 x 1000 x 50 mm.
The UTILITY PVC barrier belongs to the event family: its job is not to warn of danger but to guide the movement of people and mark out organisational zones.
That distinction has practical consequences. A warning barrier has to be seen and to signal danger, which is why it carries reflectors and warning colours. An event barrier has to organise a crowd, so what counts is a continuous line, speed of set-up and feet that nobody trips over.
Where it is used
Concerts, sporting events, festivals and public gatherings are the typical application: the barrier forms queues, separates zones and leads people along a planned route. It also works at trade fairs and exhibitions, where it orders circulation without closing the space off completely.

What an event barrier does not replace
A light plastic barrier organises movement but will not hold back crowd pressure or protect road works. Where mechanical strength matters, steel barriers are used, and for works within the highway, warning variants with reflectors such as TOROS or THOR.
