PVC Barrier GATE
Has a red-and-white warning stripe and 360-degree rotating legs with yellow ends. Dimensions: 2000 x 1000 x 50 mm; weight: 11.2 kg.
The GATE SHORT PVC barrier is the one-metre version of GATE — the same rotating-foot mechanism at half the length, for places where a two-metre body simply cannot stand.
Dimensions are 1000 × 1000 × 50 mm, keeping the red-and-white warning band and the rotating feet. Halving the length mainly changes where the barrier can physically be placed and how tightly the line can be run.
Where a metre is the only option
An open channel in the footway, a chamber beside the kerb, the gap between a column and a shopfront, a narrow strip between carriageway and fence — in these places a two-metre barrier either will not fit or blocks the pedestrian route. A shorter body lets you close the perimeter tightly without leaving gaps.
- open channels and chambers along a footway
- narrow passages and building approaches
- spot protection around small excavations
- locations where a pedestrian route must be kept open
More units over the same run
With one-metre modules the barrier line has twice as many joints, which gives more freedom in setting out but also needs more units for the same length. On longer straight runs it is better to return to the two-metre version and keep the short ones for closures.
